Waiting and Advocating for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl

I know that POW/MIA Recognition Day is officially observed on September 20. However, I’ve seen for myself how the family and friends of prisoners of war and the missing in action observe this every single day. As a result, I opted not to post this on September 20, choosing instead to put this up in time for another Bowe Tuesday.

The Bergdahls are one such family wondering if they’ll ever see their son again. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was captured by Taliban forces on a Tuesday over four years ago, and ever since then, friends, family, and supporters have marked every week he’s been held captive. So let’s all join them, help raise awareness, and push our politicians not only on behalf of Sgt. Bergdahl, but all our POW’s and MIA’s.
